I have been writing custom software professionally since 1982. I develop custom back-office databases, perhaps better termed web-deployed application software, for small to medium sized organizations. Nearly every public website I create is done in Wordpress, often using highly customized themes.

I develop in MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I have done extensive projects for association management, school scheduling and promotion, scuba diving shops and resort destinations, and local real estate professionals.

My specialty is on creating custom applications that are easy to learn and are tailor-made to an organization's need. I also build highly functional and easy to navigate public websites. Function is my priority, content is left to the client with my advice always available, and form/style can be done a variety of ways. I can do workmanlike designs but prefer to work with in-house design staff or contracted designers when the client's needs exceed my abilities.
