Text to STL
Text to STL creates AI 3D models from a text description or a reference image. Preview Geometry or textured results, resize to 10-300 mm, then export STL or GLB and check it in your slicer before printing.
Text to STL is a web app that turns a written description or a reference photo into a 3D model you can print.
How it works: describe one object in 10 to 500 characters, or upload a reference image, and the service sends the request to its generation provider. Results are available in two modes. Normal returns a textured model. Geometry returns an untextured white model. Both modes offer STL and GLB downloads. STL stores shape only, while GLB keeps the original model with or without textures.
Before export you can scale the model, setting the longest edge between 10 mm and 300 mm. All dimensions scale together, so this is not a substitute for precise mechanical CAD dimensions. There is no modeling experience requirement, but a print-ready result still needs a check in a slicer for dimensions, orientation, walls and supports.
Accounts keep generated models in a private library rather than a public gallery. New personal accounts receive 20 welcome credits after their first successful sign-in. Credit packs and monthly plans are sold on the pricing page. Confirmed failed tasks return their generation credits. Text to STL is a browser-based tool for makers, designers and small studios working with FDM or resin printers. It is not a CAD replacement and does not guarantee a printable result without inspection.
